Ok so I bought myself a new Keurig brewing system. Oh my gosh why have I not bought one before now?  I love love love it; but I was wondering if any of you out there have one and which K-Cup do you like best? I have tried all of the ones that came with it (even the teas) to which most of them I liked; but there where a few that where just way to strong for me.  Soooo I was just wondering what your fav might be?

Oh...I LOVE ours! I'm not a coffee drinker but it's so nice to be able to brew tea without it having a coffee flavor to it that I got from the old Mr.Coffee! There's no way I can pick a favorite! Right now I'm drinking hot Orange Spice tea and Celestial Seasonings Chai Tea. Both of these are very good when brewed with Pam's hot protein Chai Tea mix. I generally order the tea straight from the Keurig website because I just can't find the good ones at the stores. Twinings Earl Grey is also very good. This morning I tried a pear tea sample they sent with this last order.

Beast like flavorful coffee but not the 'melt the spoon' strong ones. He loves the Caribou coffees, and there's a breakfast blend...I think it's from Timothie's. Emeril has several and my girlfriend who was raised in New Orleans likes his NO blend.

We both like the hot white chocolate.

Go to the website and order some of the sampler packs, that's how Beast finally narrowed it all down to the 3-4 he buys all the time. Have fun testing them!

Ok Dee first things first how the heck are you? I hope great. Things are good here.
Down 90lbs and feeling great. I go see Dr. Garth this Thursday and go over all my labs.

Second tell me about this Pam's hot protein Chai Tea mix. I'm in the dark on that one.

I think I will go to there web site and order some of those sampler packs. Do they have the hot white chocolate? Is it sugar free? Do they have sugar free hot chocolate cups?

Oh heck I'm just gonna go look at the web site. I need to register my brewer anyways.

Thank you.

Hey! I'm doing great! Down a total of 116lb, 55lb since surgery. It's slower per week than I expected but that's OK as long as it's going down! Good luck with your labs. I had my PCP draw mine just before 3 mo so I'd have some sort of starting point instead of waiting until 6mo. Mine were fine so far. I go see Dr. Garth in March....tell him I said Hello!

I'm addicted to Pam's chai tea! It's on her website... pamtremble.blogspot.com/2009/02/protein-hot-chai-mix.html, you need to poke around and read her whole site! But here's the recipe....

Protein Hot Chai Mix
6 scoops vanilla protein powder
1.5 cups
non-fat powdered milk
3/4 cup
instant unsweet tea mix
3/4 cup Splenda
1T. chai spice mix (or use half cinnamon and half ground ginger)

1t. ground cloves

1t. cardamon (original recipe calls for this, but I don't have any, so skipped it)

Mix all dry ingredients in bowl until well blended. Add 1/2 cup of mixture to mug and add either splash of cold milk or water -- stir to create smooth paste (so you don't get lumpy protein powder). Add 8oz ho****er and mix well.

You can top with Light Redi Whip and a sprinkle of chai spice or drink it naked. (The drink is naked, not you.)

Recipe makes 7 half-cup servings. Calculation below is without the "splash of milk" when you're mixing the tea. If you use RediWhip -- it adds about 20 calories.

Calories: 146 Fat: 1g Carbs: 9g Protein: 27g

Be sure and run it through a recipe builder using your brand of protein. Using mine dropped it down to 104 cal. It's great just plain by itself. To change it up a bit I add SF syrups....Amaretto, Chai Tea concentrate, French Vanilla....and use various teas as the hot 'water'. I've come up with some great combinations as well as some stinkers!  LOL!

Yes, Keurig's website has everything! I didn't find any sugar free stuff but the white chocolate was 90 cal. and I don't remember the exact sugars but they were under 10 or I wouldn't have tried it!

I love my Keurig!!! I buy all sorts of different ones.  I also bought the baskets so you can add your own coffee if you want.  My favorites were the holiday collection that they had.  The golden french toast was the best but I'll have to wait until next Christmas to get more.  I liked the gingerbread as well, which I still see at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Hey Debbie I bought one of those re-usable baskets also. Is that neat or what? I had a lot of loose coffee and I was wondering what the heck I was gonna do with it. Then I was reading in the book that came with my brewer about that. Sooo I had to run right out and buy one.
Gosh I can not wait to try some of these flavors.

Chai Latte is one of my favs.  For coffee I like Rainforest Espresso and Donut Shop.  We found Dark Hot Chocolte at BB & B the other day and my son says it's good.  I think it's only 60 calories.  I've never found a sf hot choc.  K-cup.

I buy from vitacost.com ($4.99 shipping for however much you order.  They have click, Nectar Cappucino protein and other vits/supplements)

also from coffeecow.com and shoffee.com

I my Keurig!!!!!!  I like Diedrich (sp?) French roast and Emeril's Dark Roast Intense.  I buy most of my cups on eBay with NO shipping.  The seller is Clara Belle I believe.  I bought 50 cups for $25 the last time.  She has so many selections and you can get on her email newsletter.

Enjoy yourself and your coffee, tea, etc!
